Our Personal Alumni Librarian service offers a variety of benefits, including:
- Professionally trained UNTHSC librarians will consult with you individually to learn your unique needs and to help guide you through the variety of information options available to you.
- Librarians will counsel you on the most efficient and cost effective ways to obtain the information you need based on your work affiliations, professional memberships, and other factors that may offer you unrealized pathways to information.
- Librarians may refer you to services of Lewis Library as well as those of professional societies, commercial publishers, and other libraries, including the National Library of Medicine.
- While no charge is assessed for consulting with librarians on how to meet your needs, Lewis Library and other information providers may charge a fee for services such as literature searching and article delivery.
