Our Personal Alumni Librarian service offers a variety of benefits, including:
- Professionally trained UNTHSC librarians will consult with you individually to learn your unique needs and to help guide you through the variety of information options available to you.
- Librarians will counsel you on the most efficient and cost-effective ways to obtain the information you need based on your work affiliations, professional memberships, and other factors that may offer you unrealized pathways to information.
- Librarians may refer you to services of Lewis Library, as well as those of professional societies, commercial publishers, and other libraries, including the National Library of Medicine.
- While no charge is assessed for consulting with librarians on how to meet your needs, Lewis Library and other information providers may charge a fee for services such as literature searching and article delivery.
