Lewis Library recommends MedlinePlus as a good starting place for consumer health information. It's your gateway to reliable information provided by more than 1,350 organizations. It includes articles on 750 health topics, a medical dictionary and encyclopedia, drug and supplement information, still images and videos, and thousands of links. MedlinePlus also makes quality health information accessible in more than 40 languages. It is produced by the world's largest medical library, the National Library of Medicine. |Journal Finder||Provides access to more than 16,000 journals by browsing or searching. Use this tool if you want to access an article that you have already identified.|
|Library Catalog||Search for books, media, print journals, and other items in the Lewis Library's collections. Includes e-books and selected other online resources.|
|Research Databases||Search biomedical or general databases to identify articles or book chapters on your topic. In many cases, these will provide links to the full text online.|
