Lewis Library recommends MedlinePlus as a good starting place for consumer health information. It's your gateway to reliable information provided by more than 1,350 organizations. It includes articles on 750 health topics, a medical dictionary and encyclopedia, drug and supplement information, still images and videos, and thousands of links. MedlinePlus also makes quality health information accessible in more than 40 languages. It is produced by the world's largest medical library, the National Library of Medicine.
