Problems with Online Access

Current UNTHSC students, faculty members, and staff members can access Lewis Library's resources from off-campus locations and using other networks.  Normally, you will be prompted to log in with your UNTHSC network user name and password when you try to access a restricted resource.  To avoid this, or to access other resources on the network, log in first using the free VPN software provided by the Helpdesk & Client Services Department.

If you encounter problems when trying to access our resources, use the table below to contact the appropriate department for support.

Can't log in to one of these resources:

  • Job & Career Accelerator
  • LearningExpress Library
  • RefWorks
  • SciFinder Scholar
These require an individual account with a separate user name and password combination. Accounts are free of charge; see the Databases A-Z List for more information.  If you need assistance, contact the Library Reference Office (LIB-222, 817-735-2070).
