Consumer Health Information
Our librarians are available to assist you in locating the health information you are seeking. MedlinePlus, an online resource from the National Library of Medicine, is an excellent place to start. See our Consumer Health Research Guide for other recommended sources.
Reference librarians can conduct research for you by searching MEDLINE, CINAHL, and many other databases. Requests may be submitted in person, by phone, by fax, or through Ask a Librarian. A fee may be incurred for this service. Please see Fees for Services for more information.
Library instructional staff provide a wide array of introductory, intermediate, and advanced classes related to library research. Subject-specific classes may be arranged upon request. See Library Instruction for more information.

Librarians are available to assist patrons as they research medical literature from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. The Reference Office is located in Room LIB-222 on the main floor of the Library. You may also request assistance via telephone at 817-735-2070 or 1-800-687-5302. The Ask a Librarian form is available on the website for evening and weekend use.
