Off-Campus Access to Electronic Resources

The remote access options noted below are only available to University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth students, staff, and faculty with an active Novell username and password and up-to-date security training.  For more information, please see the library's Policy on Remote Access to Networked Electronic Resources.

• Access to restricted electronic library resources
• Some tools such as MDConsult or Ovid may still require or allow logging in with a username and password
• Integrated with web page - login box pops up only when needed
• Login with Novel Username and Password
• Cookies must be enabled - cookie goes away when browser closed

VPN

• Complete access to campus network, including electronic library resources
• Sign up for VPN account from Information Technology Services
• Requires download and installation of VPN software
• Only needed for access to special files on UNTHSC network

Dial-in Access

• Complete access to campus network, including library databases
• Free 56k dial-up account for UNTHSC students, staff, and faculty
