Target Audiences

The purpose of PHIP training is to equip the Public Health Practitioner with information tools that can be used in daily practice. Public health workers operate in a wide variety of positions and workplaces. Some of these areas include (but are not limited to):

Public health/school nurses
Physicians
Bioterrorism specialists & responders
Emergency responders, fire rescue workers, & paramedics
Health educators
Environmental health specialists
Occupational health therapists
Community planners
Disease surveillance specialists
County health department workers/officers
Judges and law enforcement
Epidemiologists
Public and academic librarians
