Ms. Smith has experience teaching biomedical and biological sciences databases to students, faculty, and health professionals. She has taught courses describing how to effectively search the databases and resources of the National Library of Medicine, including MEDLINE, MedlinePlus, HazMap, and theNLM Gateway. She has also provided extensive instruction in the searching of Biological databases such as Biological Abstracts and Zoological Record.

Ms. Pepper has taught biomedical and health information resources to students, faculty, staff, and consumers for seven years. She has designed, developed, planned, and taught orientation sessions and classes in information resources including MEDLINE--in both the Ovid and PubMed interfaces, CINAHL, Micromedex and other databases, PDAs, electronic and web resources, consumer health/patient education, and bibliographic management software
