Come get acquainted with PubMed, the free, web-based search interface for the MEDLINE biomedical database. We will focus on what makes PubMed/MEDLINE different than the other databases in the library, and you will learn some helpful tips and tricks for finding the most relevant content while searching PubMed. If you were previously an Ovid MEDLINE searcher, this class will get you started in PubMed. We will cover MeSH searching, the Advanced Search Builder, searches for specific types of content, and more. The class is open to all faculty, students, and staff.
